On Saturday 12th of April 2003 at 12:30pm in Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire, Woodgreen Animal Shelter The Jerome Experience established a World Record, approved by The Guinness World Records, by becoming the first loudest drummer in the world with the highest peak recorded at 109.1 decibels. A peak level sound meter was used to record Jerome’s attempt which peaked at a volume equivalent to a propeller plane taking off and louder than pneumatic drill from 3m (10ft) away. The world record attempt took place at The 10th Birthday Bash organised by The Celtic Warriors. The Jerome Experience was interviewed and filmed by television company working for Sky Television on a special documentary for Men and Motors, which was broadcast on the 18th July 2003.
